The goal of the Bloomsburg University Democrats is to increase student awareness of political issues by staging political debates on campus and keeping the student body informed on political issues. The Bloomsburg University Democrats promotes voter registration drives across campus and is regularly involved in local political campaigns and support. BU Democrats aims to promote democratic ideas across campus in a constructive manner. Our group is involved in campus debates and works closely with other campus organizations such as Democracy Matters, Students for Obama and College Republicans to plan and host political awareness events.
